Leaders of the Cobb County Bar Association are planning a “Legal Legends” education event to raise funds for the scholarship fund created to honor the late Court of Appeals Judge Debra Halpern Bernes.
The speakers are all friends and colleagues of Bernes, said criminal defense attorney H. Maddox Kilgore of Kilgore & Rodriguez, who is organizing the event as treasurer of the Cobb bar board of directors.
