On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to offer congratulations to attorney Rita A. Sheffey of Hunton & Williams in Atlanta on her recent appointment as assistant dean for public service at the Emory University Law School.
Emory Law students and the legal profession as a whole will benefit from attorney Sheffey’s service in this position, where she will share with students the importance of incorporating public service into their careers. I have the opportunity to work closely with Sheffey in her additional duties as the current treasurer of the State Bar of Georgia, and I know that good things are in store for the Emory Law School.
