Latin American financial company Grupo Promerica closed a deal Monday to acquire Citibank de Guatemala and Cititarjetas (Citicards) de Guatemala Limitada.

The deal includes Citi’s personal and commercial loans, credit cards, deposit accounts and its network of 61 branches and 191,000 customers in Guatemala. The deal brings the assets of Promerica’s Guatemala subsidiary, Banco Promerica Guatemala, to more than $1.6 billion with 98 branches and points of service.
