Lawyers weren’t sure a jury would agree that a Boynton Beach hospital should pay damages to a woman who was admitted after a botched plastic surgery and left with painful, disfiguring dead skin across her abdomen.
Cheryl Volenec was rushed to Bethesda Memorial Hospital in January 2006 after a lower-body lift at an outpatient facility across the street went awry.
