The attorney for ousted Miami Lakes Mayor Michael Pizzi said his client is ready to fight to the bitter end to get his old job back.
Miami attorney Ben Kuhene said Wednesday that he will ask Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Gisela Cardonne Ely to expedite the lawsuit filed Tuesday by Pizzi and Miami Lakes resident Mary Collins, one of the original council members in the 14-year-old village.
