The chief judge of the Southern District of Florida refused to eject another judge while she’s weighing whether to issue sanctions against the Miccosukee Tribe for fabricating fraud charges against its former attorneys in a federal lawsuit.

The 11-page order issued Thursday by Chief U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore in Miami is the latest wrinkle in a contentious drama between the tribe and attorneys hired by the tribe’s previous chairman.
