A jury found Wal-Mart Stores Inc. was not liable for lower back injuries a woman claimed she suffered in a store parking lot.

Nicole Lynch, then 43, was walking to her vehicle after leaving a Wal-mart store in Okeechobee when she slipped on motor oil. Lynch claimed she injured her lower back. Lynch claimed Wal-Mart had constructive knowledge of oil in the lot but failed to clean it up. Her counsel claimed photographs taken shortly after the incident depicted a parking space with a large oil spill and stain with multiple cart marks.
