The Florida Bar is investigating former U.S. attorney Guy Lewis and former federal prosecutor Michael Tein in connection with their representation of two members of the Miccosukee Tribe.

A Bar spokeswoman confirmed this week that a grievance committee is investigating the two prominent Miami attorneys. A grievance committee is appointed to investigate after Bar staff determine there is probable cause to pursue a complaint.
