A Palm Beach Circuit Court jury has awarded $35 million to the family of a teenager who was killed and another teen who was seriously injured in a boat collision blamed on a steering flaw.

The Cooper City girls were riding on a Yamaha WaveRunner when they lost control in an Easter 2005 accident in the Intracoastal Waterway near Currie Park in West Palm Beach.
