Sore loser of the week: John Dowd of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, the lawyer for Galleon hedge-fund founder Raj Rajaratnam, who was found guilty on all counts of insider trading this week in the largest insider trading case involving hedge funds.

Granted, it was a spectacular loss for Dowd and his client. But what gives a big macher of the white-collar criminal bar the right to curse and threaten a humble reporter? The ABA Blog reports that Dowd growled at an CNBC reporter: “Get the [bleep] out of here!” He then raised his hand, according to the ABA, declaring: “That’s what I got for CNBC.” Of course, all of this was recorded on the network video.
