Brenda Cambron Rogers, a 67-year-old rookie lawyer, won what she believes is a record judgment in Georgia for internet libel — $533,333.33.

Gwinnett County State Court Senior Judge Howard E. Cook signed the order March 2 in favor of Rogers’ client, city of Duluth, Ga., Police Department officer Amanda B. Nix, against Jaison Allen Stiehl for making “false and malicious statements” in internet blog postings.
