The Deal: The White & Case attorneys represented BBVA, as administrative agent and lead bank, in connection with a senior unsecured $2 billion term loan facility for Comisión Federal de Electricidad, the national electric utility of Mexico. The facility is one of the largest syndicated loan deals closed this year in Latin America and included eight mandated lead arrangers and 20 lenders. The deal closed on Dec. 9.
