Ocean Bank and creditors of fallen Hialeah condo converter Puig Inc. said Wednesday that they have settled their differences with the bank agreeing to pay a $4.9 million settlement that erases a claim that started at $100 million.

The Miami bank also is dropping a $500,000 claim against the Puig estate, according to a joint statement. The settlement stipulates both sides will drop claims against each other.
