A federal district court in West Palm Beach entered an order denying over $104,000 in attorney fees to an Am Law 200 firm that prevailed in its client’s underlying case.

The plaintiff, Jonathan Miller, a solo practitioner in Princeton, New Jersey and the son of the late criminal defense attorney, Sydney Miller, sued the defendants, Joyce Eisen, his father’s longtime girlfriend, and Scott Miller, as the trustee of the Sydney Miller trust over the distribution of his father’s estate through alleged fraud and other allegations.
