A Florida federal judge entered a judgment on the docket Wednesday against an advisory firm for misappropriating hundreds of thousands of dollars from a U.S. nonprofit organization over its failure to relocate 197 people awaiting help in Pakistan as part of the nonprofit’s efforts to rescue Afghans from Taliban rule.

Sean Michael Reilly and Kevin T. Carroll, of counsel and a partner, respectively, at Am Law 150 firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed in Washington, D.C., represented the plaintiff, Save Our Allies LLC, against the defendant, the Ravenswood Group Holding LLC, before U.S. District Judge Jose E. Martinez of the Southern District of Florida.
