The lease of city land for an entertainment complex that has the potential to usher in a new era for the Miami River District will now be extended by 50 years.

This week, 60% of voters were in favor of an amendment to extend the lease of city land for Riverside Wharf, an $185 million entertainment complex developed by MV Real Estate Holdings along with Driftwood Capital and Merrimac Ventures.
