The June 2021 collapse of Champlain Towers South, a 12-story condominium in Surfside, has resulted in a wave of lawsuits, policy and regulation change considerations, and a renewed focus on safety for residents. 

And for 2022, that means the focus is on developing new laws, regulations and enforcement, which will boost construction activity and the need for more engineers.
