Lawyers should hold the complaints, motions and appeals if they plan to file in Monroe County, because the sixteenth judicial circuit will be closed on Monday due to Tropical Storm Elsa.

The Florida Keys are under a local state of emergency. But the courthouse will reopen for normal business hours Wednesday, according to Monroe Circuit Court Chief Judge Bonnie J. Helms, who entered the emergency administrative order.
