The Federal Judicial Nominating Conference of Florida is set to interview six candidates Tuesday for one of the most coveted positions in law enforcement.

And based on the recommendation, U.S. President Joe Biden is set to choose one candidate to appoint for a term of four years, pending final confirmation from the U.S. Senate. That appointee will replace Juan Antonio “Tony” Gonzalez, who is serving as the acting U.S. Attorney.
