Marc Mukasey confirmed Friday morning that he and fellow Manhattan-based criminal defense attorney Isabelle Kirshner were representing U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Florida, amid a federal investigation related to the alleged sex trafficking of a minor.
Their involvement in the case was first reported Friday by NBC News. Hours after the NBC report, the U.S. House of Representatives’ ethics committee announced it was also investigating Gaetz.
