Ave Maria School of Law, a consistent underperformer among Florida’s 11 law schools, is one of 10 standalone institutions nationally that received forgivable emergency loans of $150,000 or more in coronavirus relief from the Small Business Administration, newly released data show.

The Paycheck Protection Program loans were part of a $350 billion package passed in March to assist businesses struggling during the COVID-19 outbreak. The data released by the SBA provides only broad ranges of dollar amounts and not the precise figure for each PPP recipient.
