A motorist whose injured her neck in a rear-end crash recovered $12,600.

On July 21, 2008, Christina Haddock, then 20, was driving a pickup truck on State Road 590 in Pinellas County. As she was turning right on a red light onto State Road 580, she was rear-ended by a sports car driven by Christine Schlerf. Haddock maintained she had stopped at the intersection to make sure traffic was clear for a turn when Schlerf struck her, causing a cervical disc bulge and a cervical disc protrusion.
