U.S. District Judge Joan Lenard will take senior status July 1, the Southern District of Florida clerk’s office said Tuesday.
The move will leave a fourth judicial vacancy in South Florida’s federal court, already stressed by a heavy caseload that would be too much even for a fully staffed bench of 18, according to the Judicial Conference of the United States.
