The Florida Supreme Court disciplined seven South Florida attorneys, including one who was disbarred, the Florida Bar announced Tuesday.

John Jenkins of Palm Beach Gardens was disbarred after bungling an attempt to withdraw from a case before the Fifth District Court of Appeal. His first notice of withdrawal was filed improperly, but he did not file a proper motion in a timely manner or appear in court. Once the court did grant his motion to withdraw, his response was insufficient and the court ordered him to pay a $250 sanction.
