Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Victoria Sigler, the first openly gay elected official in Florida, has resigned after 20 years on the bench.
“I am both sad and excited about leaving the job because I’ve worked with a great team here and it’s kind of sad dismantling it,” Sigler said. Her last day will be June 30.
