Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick appeared to have a difficult year in 2014 with its gross revenue dropping 13.5 percent and profits per partner dipping 30 percent, but it’s just a blip, according to Toledo, Ohio, managing partner Thomas Dillon.

The law firm with offices in Ohio, Florida and North Carolina won a $10 million FINRA award in 2013, which skewed its year-ago financial results, he explained. Net income fell 28 percent to $49.5 million from $69 million.
