Douglas Morello v. City of Norwich: A Norwich police officer who claims he was wrongly terminated after the city refused to try to accommodate his mental disability has settled his lawsuit for nearly $1.23 million.

Douglas Morello, 49, began working for the Norwich Police Department in 1993. In January 2010, he was suspended for 90 days for stalking a woman while on duty. He had followed her several times and used the police department’s computer system to access information about her.
