We have selected four outstanding corporate legal departments from around the country that stood out from among their peers. The award bestowed is not based on scorecards or data-driven metrics, but on success stories: how a legal department won landmark litigation, enacted regulatory change or was integral in leading innovation and change in a company. The winners will be honored at The American Lawyer Lifetime Awards reception on Oct. 24 in New York.
