SAN FRANCISCO — In a bitter fee fight between lawyers for Uber Technologies Inc. and three law firms that sued the company over alleged discrimination against blind passengers, a federal judge in San Jose has largely sided with the plaintiffs lawyers.

In an order issued Tuesday afternoon, U.S. Magistrate Judge Nathanael Cousins of the Northern District of California awarded $2.38 million in fees to plaintiffs attorneys at Disability Rights Advocates, Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld and the TRE Legal Practice, or about 75 percent of the total amount they sought.
