Coca-Cola European Partners, the world’s largest independent bottler of Coca-Cola products based on net sales, announced on May 31 that London-based lawyer Clare Wardle is taking over as general counsel and company secretary starting on July 15. This announcement comes less than a year after CCEP was created as a result of a merger between three main Coca-Cola bottling companies.

Wardle comes to CCEP from the European home improvement company Kingfisher. She has previously been a top in-house lawyer at Tube Lines Limited, a company responsible for infrastructure maintenance of the London Underground, and Post Office Ltd. in the U.K.
