Online auction company eBay Inc. had the winning bid for Marie Oh Huber, who will be joining the company as general counsel as it separates PayPal into its own independent, publicly traded company later this year.

Huber is coming from Agilent Technologies, where she has served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary since 2009, and previously was assistant general counsel and assistant secretary. Before Agilent, Huber was a corporate lawyer at Hewlett-Packard Co., specializing in mergers and acquisitions. She started her legal career in private practice at Heller Ehrman and Dewey Ballantine, according to her LinkedIn profile. Huber serves on the boards of the James Campbell Co. and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
