A few years ago, if you had asked general counsel Chris Fowler if he thought he’d make a career out of metrics and the law, he would have answered “never.” But how times have changed.

Fowler learned that “you can talk about facts till you are blue in the face, but it’s metrics that really make people stand up and listen,” he told CorpCounsel.com. Fowler is general counsel for U.K. commercial legal services at British Telecommunications (BT) in London.
