Although most chief litigation officers in the financial services and insurance industries said their companies have a good relationship with regulators, at least 40 percent labeled that relationship “negative,” according to a new survey by Consero Group.

“I was surprised by that response,” Paul Mandell, Consero’s founder and chief executive, told CorpCounsel.com Tuesday. “Forty percent negative is a pretty big number to have a bad relationship with regulators. That’s not a good sign.”
