The U.S. Golf Manufacturers Anti-Counterfeiting Working Group and Chinese law enforcement officials are continuing their efforts to stamp out the spread of fakes. According to a Digital Journal press release, over the past month the two successfully raided five China-based counterfeiting targets, resulting in the seizure of nearly 90,000 counterfeit golf products.

Formed in 2004, the golf anticounterfeiting group consists of some of the most prominent golf companies, including Acushnet Co., whose brands are Titleist, FootJoy and Scotty Cameron; Callaway-Odyssey; Cleveland Golf, Srixon and Never Compromise; PING; and TaylorMade-adidas Golf and Ashworth.
