To pay or not to pay? That is the question many employers ask when it comes to the holiday compensation requirements for those on leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act.

As Jeff Nowak, an attorney at Franczek Radelet, explains on FMLA Insights, the answer laid out in 29 C.F.R. § 825.209(h) is simple: Treat the employee the same as you would a worker on non-FMLA leave.
