The Swiss have their chocolate, and now they have Barclay’s managing director and general counsel for the Americas, according to Natalie Stanton in The Lawyer. She reports that Michael Crowl has left the British bank to become UBS’s general counsel for the Americas and for the bank’s wealth management unit.

Stanton says the new GC will start at the Swiss institution on July 1, replacing the interim Americas legal chief Brent Taylor, who will return to his role as head of legal for wealth management and investment solutions.
