Patterson Companies Inc. has announced the retirement of its general counsel, Matthew “Buzz” Levitt, after serving more than 25 years with the company. His successor is Jonelle Burnham, who is being promoted to vice president, general counsel and secretary.

“Buzz has provided Patterson with exceptional legal counsel over the past 25 years and is highly respected by our senior leadership team and employees, as well as his industry peers,” said Scott Anderson, chairman and chief executive officer of the medical-supplies company, in a statement. “The entire Patterson organization wishes Buzz and his family all the best going forward.”
