Océ Business Services, a Canon Group company and a managed business process services and electronic discovery provider, announced Monday a new service that provides legal organizations with e-discovery software deployed onsite as a managed service, which aims to improve efficiency and client service, as well as reduce costs and risks.

Océ’s dataDeliver e-discovery service is performed onsite at an Océ document service center. With an onsite service, Océ looks forward to reducing the risk that data may fall into the wrong hands — client e-discovery data never leaves the firm network. In addition, law firms and corporate legal departments can better scope and plan Océ’s e-discovery services to work with their own e-discovery best practices.
