It’s been a long, circuitous trip for Sheri Edison on her way to becoming the new general counsel for Bemis Company, Inc., a flexible packaging maker. And she has been one busy woman en route to this latest position.
Edison entered in-house life as the first general counsel of Batesville Casket Company, a provider of funeral service goods that is named for the small Indiana town in which it operates. She moved to a second general counsel position, this time at LTV Steel Tubular Products Company, the third-largest steelmaker in the U.S.
