Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. (TMS) is trying to move the pretrial proceedings in a civil case out of Texas—and former Toyota in-house lawyer Dimitrios Biller is fighting tooth-and-nail to prevent it.

Toyota asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation in a motion filed October 16 to move pretrial and discovery in the cases of car-crash plaintiffs being heard in Texas federal court over to federal court in Los Angeles.
