OpenAI General Counsel Che Chang says he’s a strong proponent of artificial intelligence regulation, a view that puts him in line with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman but less so with other AI industry executives.
He said regulators are “trying to make sure humanity stays at the forefront of technology, not the other way around,” Chang said. “I think that’s what we all want.”
