HUB International, a big insurance brokerage based in Chicago, recently launched a new insurance-sales portal, VIU by HUB, an important effort that deeply involved the legal department.
“When I saw the business team wearing T-shirts for the product, I reached out to VIU’s business leader and asked, ‘Where are the attorney T-shirts?’” said John Albright, who leads the company’s 50-person legal and legal and compliance department. “I said it half-jokingly, but he mailed them T-shirts.”
