Thompson Dietz, an in-house lawyer from New Jersey, was confirmed as a judge on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims by a 51-36 vote.
Dietz, 41, who is associate general counsel at accounting firm CohnReznick, was confirmed in a vote that mostly split along party lines.
