The May 25 implementation deadline for the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation is fast approaching, and, according to a new data from the Association of Corporate Counsel, in-house counsel are aware of the changes they’ll have to make to prepare.

The ACC Foundation’s 2018 State of Cybersecurity Report, released Tuesday, includes data from 617 in-house lawyers at more than 412 companies in 33 countries, with 39 percent of these attorneys indicating that their companies have to be GDPR compliant.
