A mother is suing Target Corp. over the suicide of her son, an employee who was allegedly accused by the retailer of wrongdoing, arrested, cuffed and walked through the store in a so-called walk of shame.

The police released the son the same day as the arrest, July 15, with no charges filed. The store also dismissed him as a cashier. Three days later he jumped from a hotel rooftop.
