Ali Derie

Ali is an attorney and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) advisor with experience in the financial, legal and regulatory fields.

After some time at M&T Bank, Ali Derie passed the bar in New York State and subsequently spent four years at the Department of Justice EDNY Civil Division. He then passed the certified AML specialist examination to be certified as a CAMS.

Having spent the last year advising start up companies on matters from incorporation and corporate governance to employee contracts, Ali has built a solid bed of transactional experience in an exciting and growing sector of the economy.

Eric Goldman

For over 30 years, Eric has provided legal services to Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award-winning talent, and to technology and internet entrepreneurs. Past projects include representation of the writers of the Broadway and international hit musical COME FROM AWAY; representation of YouTube sensation BLIPPI on international licensing and other matters; and serving as outside counsel to streaming service BroadwayHD.

Eric’s services include conducting private placement financings for clients, from drafting offering papers to completing Federal and state Blue Sky filings. As intellectual property counsel, Eric routinely drafts agreements pertaining to the acquisition, licensing, and distribution of copyrighted and trademarked properties. Increasingly, Eric’s practice focuses on the merger of the entertainment and technology industries, such as negotiating agreements for the distribution of music by means of NFTs. In order to help his clients more effectively, Eric has expanded the services he offers to include mediation and coaching, completing the training requirements both to serve as a mediator in the New York Unified Court System and as a professional certified coach.

Eric is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and New York University School of Law. After spending 15 years working as a Senior Associate for entertainment attorney Mark Sendroff of Sendroff & Baruch LLP, Eric launched his own firm in 2011. Earlier in his career, Eric served as in-house counsel for St. Martin’s Press and for Hertz Computer. His first job out of law school was working as an associate for copyright guru Stanley Rothenberg.
