Description

The current year awaits a new wave of regulations under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). The new CPRA provisions emphasize the heightened protocols for sensitive personal information, data collection, and data protection requirements. As the regulatory crackdown begins in July 2023, businesses are compelled to review and update their existing policies. The regulatory landscape is set to be more challenging, thus, there’s a need for companies to keep a close eye on the additional requirements and be prepared to implement further operational modifications.

In this program, data privacy and compliance attorneys Jana Terry (Beckstead Terry Ditto PLLC) and Andrea M. Gumushian (Varnum LLP) will provide an in-depth examination of the recent CPRA developments. Speakers, among other things, will present critical challenges and share strategies to avoid the consequences of potential violations.
