Dave Rogers is a managing director in the Data Insights and Forensics practice, based in Dallas. Dave is an information technology professional with over 20 years of experience working on high-profile matters, supporting multinational corporations by providing innovative solutions to complex compliance and legal technology business problems. He has expertise managing large teams in the investigation and litigation consulting area, with an emphasis on digital forensics, incident response, compliance and regulatory investigations, and electronic discovery.

Diane Diaz

Diane Diaz is an eDiscovery Manager at McDonald’s Corporation. She has over 20 years of experience in the legal field, starting as a legal secretary and working through the ranks of paralegal and most recently realigning her paralegal responsibilities into her current eDiscovery Manager role. She supports the legal department and serves the Commercial Litigation Practice Group which handles, among other things, class action lawsuits, government inquiries, franchise disputes, real estate matters and third-party subpoena responses. On any given day, she manages over 60 matters that include issuing legal holds, interviewing custodians, identifying and collecting data and sorting through boxes of records located in offsite storage. She also manages the eDiscovery and Legal Hold platforms for the litigation teams.

Diane is a strategic thinker that ensures alignment amongst commercial, labor and tort litigation teams developing protocols that keep consistent and repeatable processes when collecting data. In addition, she partners with the Records and Information Management team on information governance ensuring that eDiscovery needs concerning incoming technology and data disposition projects are addressed. In her spare time, she enjoys taking HIIT classes and walking her dog, Kendall. Diane has been married to her husband Ed, for 21 years. She has two daughters, Maya, 19 and Marnie, 12.

Toni Millican

Toni Millican is the Senior Director of Information Governance & Data Protection for Trinity Industries. Trinity Industries, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is North America’s premier provider of railcar products and services. Their products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy.

Ms. Millican joined Trinity in 2017 to build and lead their in-house eDiscovery program. She now leads the company’s information governance program encompassing data retention/minimization, data loss prevention, data privacy, digital event response, eDiscovery and litigation support. She is a certified eDiscovery specialist and has over 30 years of legal experience in both the public and private sectors. Her proficiency is in the implementation of enterprise wide technologies that support data and information strategy initiatives while adhering to data privacy and data protection regulations. Keenly aware of the value of data, as it progresses through its lifecycle, and the associated risks for inadvertent access or loss, lends her the ability to effectively communicate and establish a culture within her own organization to make informed decisions on how to improve data quality and enforce rules, rights and accountabilities. She has held a variety of positions in the legal industry, including eDiscovery manager, legal assistant, legal assistant manager, practice group coordinator, litigation support specialist and forensic analyst. Ms. Millican is currently serving a term as Director At Large for ACEDS North Texas Chapter.

Caroline Sweeney

As the Director of Knowledge Management and Innovation at Dorsey & Whitney Law Firm, Caroline is responsible for the strategic development, implementation and operation of Dorsey's firm-wide Knowledge Management and Innovation department, focusing on supporting new and creative ways of delivering legal services to clients and maximizing knowledge sharing. Her area of responsibility includes Dorsey’s LegalMine Managed Services, an example of innovative legal service delivery. Caroline is actively involved in the legal community, with a focus on technology. She is a member of the EDRM Global Advisory Council, as well as a member of The Sedona Conference (TSC) Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production, and The Sedona Conference Technology Resource Panel. Caroline is also active in the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) currently serving on the Knowledge Management Content Team. Other professional memberships include the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) and the Association of Certified E-discovery Specialists (ACEDS). Caroline has served on a number of legal technology vendors’ client advisory boards and has experience with a wide array of technology platforms. In addition to various software certifications, she has received additional certifications in the areas of Legal Project Management and records and information management. She has participated as a presenter and faculty member at various legal technology conferences and has written various articles related to legal technology.

David Yerich

David Yerich is the Director of eDiscovery for UnitedHealth Group, a fortune 25 company headquartered in Minnesota. David's responsibilities include designing, updating, and implementing the processes, protocols and tools utilized by the Company related to electronic discovery for regulatory and legal matters.

Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, David worked as the Electronic Discovery Consultant at Faegre & Benson, a Minneapolis law firm. At the law firm, David and his teams worked with attorneys, paralegals, litigation support team members and clients on all aspects of eDiscovery, including the identification, preservation, collection of electronically stored information (ESI). David also provided oversight for the document review operations.

Before joining Faegre & Benson, David worked at Cargill, Inc. for ten years implementing and supporting technology solutions. David's later projects at Cargill focused on document and electronic records management, including a roll-out of a world wide document management tool for Cargill's legal department.

David is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Hamline University School of Law and is licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota.
