Courtney Estes

Courtney Estes was promoted to assistant vice president and associate general counsel, Network, in December 2018. In this role, she is responsible for legal matters related to joint facilities, shortlines, corporate real estate and passenger operations at BNSF Railway Company.

Courtney has served most recently as senior general attorney, Compliance, with responsibility for legal and compliance issues, including the Code of Conduct and company policies, the Anti-Fraud team, corporate and subsidiary governance and records and information management. She joined BNSF in 2010 as a general attorney and has subsequently served in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility, deepening her experience in compliance, transactional, litigation, inter-carrier and regulatory areas.

Elizabeth Cassady is a trial-ready commercial litigator. She is experienced representing global companies and financial institutions in a full slate of business-critical litigation, including securities, breach of contract, antitrust, patent infringement, and employment discrimination.

She has represented clients before numerous federal and state courts, Courts of Appeals, the US Supreme Court and the International Trade Commission. She is skilled in handling all stages of litigation, from fact and expert discovery through trial. Liz collaborates with trial teams to quickly develop and deploy winning strategies on complex cases.

Additionally, she has an active pro bono practice and has been recognized on the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll since its inception in 2012.

Archana is an experienced leader dedicated to creating value driven solutions and sustainable growth for her clients. She is currently Senior Counsel at Henry Ford Health System, Health Alliance Plan a $6B non-profit integrated health delivery system, nationally recognized for its clinical excellence and commitment to innovative value-based care. Archana provides strategic guidance and legal advice on a broad range of commercial and government products, litigation, risk management and government affairs matters.

Prior to Henry Ford, Archana served as Senior Counsel for CareSource a $10B multi-state managed care organization. At CareSource, she handled a wide range of corporate legal affairs and oversaw pre-litigation disputes, litigation and legal operations. Prior to that, Archana was in private practice and a partner at a boutique litigation firm. Archana is an educator and frequent speaker on a wide range of topics to corporate leaders and students from litigation strategies to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Archana’s broad experience and community engagement gives her the ability to lead with collaboration and develop unique insights that lead to innovative and cost-effective solutions for her clients.

Archana obtained her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and law degree from Indiana University.
