RICHARD BROSNICK has joined Akerman as a partner in New York. Previously with Butzel Long, Brosnick practices in the areas of financial services and securities litigation, antitrust litigation and counseling, and commercial contract litigation and arbitration.

LOUISE PARENT, currently the general counsel of American Express, is slated to join Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as of counsel in April following her retirement from the credit card company. Parent will join Cleary’s New York office and plans to advise corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and enforcement and regulatory matters.
